Why we started a site to focus on flexible work

Welcome to our new site, Work There From Here.

Our mission is to provide a home for all of us who choose flexible work. They may be work from home, hybrid working, freelancing, juggling multiple jobs. Maybe, it's easier to describe what flexible work isn't. It's not clocking in at nine, and out at five. Or more likely, clocking out at some god-awful hour, because the man demands his pound of flesh.

We love to work. But we love to live, more.

And in keeping with that, we aim to cover a wide brief here. We're look at flexible working trends and news, we'll explore cool home office set-ups, we'll look at flexible work tech, and we'll even have a section for living better.

And we'd like to cover the topic from multiple perspective. From you guys doing the work, to managers who want to manager better in the flexible work age, to HR folk who are looking for help on how to shift their workers to this new paradigm.

Because at the end of the day, everyone wants the same thing right. We want our businesses to succeed, we want to enjoy our work, and when we're done we want to live our best lives.
